Comité Científico / Scientific Committee

 

Nanoair Solutions SLU, (PURETi Europe) has created a Scientific Committee in order to define the strategic lines of our R & D & I development program for the next two years.

The committee is chaired by Dr. Francisco Aranda, and formed by Vicente Pastor and Juan Marull, with the collaboration of Professor Dña. María Eugenia Rabanal and the Materials Technology Research group of the Carlos III University of Madrid.

In coordination with PURETi USA this committee will define the strategic lines for the development of new products where, exploiting the experience already obtained, the capabilities of new nanomaterials and based on the photocatalysis mechanism, we achieve disruptive results in functionalities to improve air quality and bactericidal capabilities. and viricides of the surfaces treated with our nano technologies.

With this creation we hope to reinforce our disruptive leadership position in improving air quality (indoor and outdoor) and bactericidal and virucidal capacities.

El Dr. Francisco Aranda licenciado en Ciencias Físicas por la Universidad de Massachusetts / Boston, es Máster en Ciencias en Física Aplicada por la Universidad de Massachusetts / Boston y Doctor en Física de la Universidad de Massachusetts / Lowell. Ha trabajado extensamente en fibras ópticas y óptica no lineal. El Dr. Aranda fue becario postdoctoral del Consejo Nacional de Investigación en el Laboratorio de Investigación de la Fuerza Aérea / Hanscom AFB. Fue miembro del personal técnico de Lucent Technologies y director de Pruebas y Medidas en Stocker Yale, Inc. y Verrillon, Inc. Es autor y coautor de más de setenta publicaciones científicas en el área de Fotónica y posee dos patentes estadounidenses.

Dr. Francisco Aranda holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Massachusetts/Boston, a Master of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Massachusetts/Boston and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Massachusetts/Lowell. He has worked extensively in optical fibers and nonlinear optics. Dr. Aranda was a National Research Council Postdoctoral Fellow at the Air Force Research Laboratory/ Hanscom AFB. He was a member of technical staff at Lucent Technologies and a Director of Tests and Measurements at Stocker Yale, Inc. and Verrillon, Inc. He has authored and coauthored over seventy scientific publications in the area of Photonics and holds two US patents.
 

Vicente Pastor es Ingeniero Químico con amplia experiencia en tratamientos protectores, sistemas de polimerización y utilización de nanomateriales en empresas tales como BASF, Ferroenamel, etc.
Current collaborator in R&D programs of important multinational companies in the chemical sector, especially in the use of new materials and new functionalities.

Vicente Pastor is a chemical Engineer with extensive experience in protective treatments, polymerization systems and use of nanomaterials in companies such as BASF, Ferroenamel, etc.

Juan Marull es Ingeniero Químico IQS y MBA por la Universidad ESADE. El Sr. Marull fue el CEO para España y Sudamérica de Azko Nobel y tiene una sólida experiencia en la industria de los recubrimientos. Marull ha formado parte del Consejo de Administración de varias empresas químicas entre las cuales destacan Akzo Nobel y Synthesia Chemicals. Además, es experto en implementación de nuevos procesos y proyectos de investigación en varias firmas químicas multinacionales.

Juan Marull is a Chemical Engineer IQS, and MBA from ESADE University. Mr Marull was the CEO for Spain and Southamerica of Akzo Nobel and has strong experience in the coatings industry. Mr Marull has sit on the board of Directors of several chemical firms such as and Akzo Nobel and Synthesia Chemicals among others. Furthermore he is an expert of implementation of new process, research projects implementations in several multinational chemical firms.
