The PCO technology<\/strong> It was first discovered in Japan in 1968, and the first photocatalytic products (self-cleaning ceramic tiles and glass) were introduced in 1998. These initial first-generation products, made by fusing MOM powders into the outer layer using high heat and expensive equipment, were later combined with powder-based smog-reducing cement (TX Active) and serpentine-coated aluminum coating (EcoClean). The initial PCO coating products launched in 2000 and weldable MOM powders or gels bonded using various adhesives such as sodium silicate or siloxanes.<\/p>\n
